Two apartments were combined together and reconfigured for a large, blended family with college-aged children. In the process, a part of the shared hallway was purchased to help create a seamless transition. The result was a spacious four-bedroom, four-bath apartment with dedicated dining and breakfast rooms and plenty of shared spaces with comfortable seating areas for the family to spend time together. While the process of merging two apartments was challenging, the final result is a 3,500 sq ft residence that feels like it’s always been there.
