This project included a renovation of a 1920s house and an addition of a cabana. The main house was stripped to its Art Moderne essence and completely reconfigured. A new, circular metal-and-glass staircase became the centerpiece of the house taking the redesign in a much more contemporary direction. Built-in a sweeping curve, this Palm Beach Deco Oceanfront organic form was repeated in the newly constructed cabana, which feels seamless with the original building. Inside both buildings, everything was designed to follow the curve: from the ceiling in the new media room to a bespoke sofa, designed to fit the space.
