As the first LEED® Platinum certified condo building not just in New York but on the entire East Coast, The Visionaire leads the way in sustainable city living. High-end finishes and amenities combined with innovation and sustainability, provide an environmentally friendly lifestyle for residents without forgoing beautiful design and comfort. Stedila Design’s third eco-friendly collaboration with the Albanese Organization, The Visionaire’s interiors feature kitchens with river-washed absolute black granite countertops, rift-cut oak flooring harvested according to Forest Stewardship Council certified standards, and renewable bamboo cabinets. Paints, adhesives, and sealants used are also environmentally friendly. As the third in a trio of green high rises, the Visionaire afforded the design team the opportunity to integrate and advance various green components from past projects. New eco-friendly fixtures, finishes, and materials and the expanding market of green technologies provided the design team with more design options and enabled widespread installation throughout the building.
